3 Wide Receivers Set to Get Major Volume in 2022

A Wide Receiver is not worth a fantasy selection unless their Quarterback is going to look their way and get them the ball. These receivers will get more targets then in past seasons and should be among the most targeted receivers of 2022.

  1. Amari Cooper

The 4th overall selection in the 2015 draft, Amari Cooper still has great talent. Still, he has not yet shown his full potential. He has reached 1,000 yards in 5 of his 7 seasons and with the Cowboys, bumped up his TD per season average.

Signing with the Browns in the offseason, Cooper is the undisputed WR1 and will dominate target share. The major concern, however, is the uncertain Quarterback situation which may keep me from pulling the trigger and drafting him.

2. Brandin Cooks

Across 4 different teams in 8 seasons, Cooks has had 6 1000 receiving yard season and averaged nearly 6 touchdowns per season. Like Cooper, Cooks has no competition for the WR1 spot and he has also built a strong rapport with second year QB, Davis Mills.

Cooks has been among the most consistent fantasy receivers since entering the league in 2014 and I do not see that changing this year.

3. CeeDee Lamb

After Cooper left the Cowboys in the offseason and with WR2 Michael Gallup coming off a torn ACL, CeeDee Lamb is set to get major volume this season.

The 17th overall pick in 2020, Lamb had high expectations coming into the league and through the first few games of 2020 and 2021, lived up to those. With Dak Prescott healthy and Lamb having the least competition in his career, Lamb will be a great selection in 2022 fantasy.
